Country Courier Services operate a Transport and Logistics business based in Townsville. While our original business started as a transport business we have developed a strong warehouse and logistics section and other diversified interests.

Our business currently engages over thirty employees, 15 contractors and a number of agents in western areas.

The main business principal has been to work with our clients to tailor a service that meets their requirement and not have the client try and fit a model that suits only our business. Our best results have come from true partnership arrangements where both parties are working to supply the best possible service at the lowest cost per unit.

As an example, our association with DHL Logistics started as a holding of 80 pallets in a small section of our current premises and has now expanded into purpose built solution, a pallet holding in excess of 760 pallets and supply of their transport requirements in Country Queensland. This gives and overnight by road service ex Townsville as far south as Rockhampton, west to Mt Isa and north to Cairns. This relationship was built over 48 months and is based on a true partnership arrangement.

As the owner of the business my experience has been at a corporate end of the transport industry working for Mayne Nickless and Toll Priority at a National level. The key part of dealing with a medium sized private company is that we can change direction to accommodate our partner's needs and we can grow with our customer in a true partnership.

Our management team ensures that all sections of our business are well maintained and operated in a manner which enhances our service to the customers. This team has a large experience base and is cross trained in all facets of our business to ensure we have no service gaps.
