Country Courier Services Air FreightCountry Courier Services obtained approval from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government (DITRDLG) for a Transport Security Program in 2007. In a recent audit carried out by the DITRDLG in April 2008, "No matters requiring corrective action were detected during the audit" was the written advice received.

Freight can be sent to a mine site with a passenger or be lodged with a freight company. The freight company must have a Transport Security Program in place approved by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.

Currently, Country Courier Services consolidates freight for the following mine sites:

  • BHP Cannington
  • Barrick Osborne
  • Oz Minerals
  • Phosphate/Incitec Pivot

All mines freight must be received by Country Courier Services at least 90 minutes prior to the aircraft departure times.
